Copenhagen was a wishlist item for a long time. A while ago this wish came true and I could discover with my own eyes how cool this city really is! Copenhagen has a lot to offer. Beautiful buildings, pretty parks, a lot of culture, but also a lot of Scandinavian design to admire and to shop! Voor interiorlovers a must visit destination for a citytrip! On top of it all there’s a great vibe in this city. In this post I will show you a couple of the many hotspots which are definitely worth a visit.
That summer feeling
Summervibes are here! And I love it! This year we haven’t had much sun during springtime, so all the Dutchies were longing for summer. And now summer is finally here!! We even had a little heatwave last week! So that means we spend as much time as possible outside in our garden.
Workspace at home
Since a year I have a little workspace at home. A place just for me where I can work, write and be creative.
I love to look at pretty things (who doesn’t!), so I surround myself as much as possible with things that make me happy. This can be different things. For example personal belongings with special memories, sometimes an expensive item that I’ve saved for, but it easily can be something that I found for a little price! It’s not about the brand, but about the design and feeling for me. For inspiration I use Instagram, Pinterest, interior magazines and blogs. I always try to give it my own spin, so it suits our home and our personalities.
Design District 2015
Last Friday I visited Design District, a trade fair for interior design in The Netherlands. About 150 participants showed their newest and best products. The participants have gone through a strict selection. You can only find those who belong to the top or have special and interesting products. For me an opportunity to meet brands that I don’t see very often.
